  • Wash your hands frequently! Use soap and water, and dry your hands thoroughly
  • Avoid touching your eyes, nose and mouth
  • Cover your coughs! Sneeze into your elbow or a tissue and then throw the tissue away and wash your hands
  • Avoid close contact to anyone with cold or flu-like symptoms
  • Avoid frequently touched surfaces in public places
  • Protect wounds
  • Thoroughly cook meat and eggs
  • Avoid unprotected contact with live wild animals
